Welcome to the 37th Brazilian Congress of Virology (CBV) and the 21st Mercosur Meeting of Virology (EVM)!
In 2026, the Brazilian Society for Virology (SBV) celebrates 40 years of history, bringing our community together at the 37th CBV/21st EVM, which will take place October 20–24 in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil. This special meeting marks four decades of SBV’s dedication to advancing virology in Brazil and across Latin America.
The 37th CBV/21st EVM will be a space for celebration, science, and integration, bringing together researchers, professionals, and students from Brazil and abroad to share knowledge, discuss contemporary challenges, and build solutions in the fields of health, environment, and biotechnology. The program will feature lectures, roundtable discussions, oral sessions, and poster presentations, fostering a dynamic environment for the exchange of ideas and the strengthening of scientific collaborations. In addition, we will have moments of social gathering to celebrate SBV’s 40th anniversary and further strengthen the scientific community.
