The discounts listed in the table above apply to SBV members in good standing for 2026, as well as to members in good standing for 2026 of the Latin American societies partnered with the Brazilian Society for Virology (Sociedad Venezolana de Microbiología, Sociedad Uruguaya de Microbiología, Asociación Dominicana de Microbiología – ADEMICRO, Asociación Costarricense de Microbiología y Parasitología, Sociedad Paraguaya de Microbiología – S.P.M., and Sociedad de Microbiología de Chile – SOMICH), Asociación Argentína de Microbiologia (AAM) (see https://sbv.org.br/parceiros).

Additional loyalty discounts for SBV members in good standing are available as follows:

Important Information

Registration may only be completed once. After the initial registration, please use the user area to access your account.
After completing the registration form below, the participant will receive a confirmation message and will be redirected to the user area, where they may edit their information, make payments, download receipts, submit scientific abstracts, and carry out any other procedures related to the website.
Each registration allows the submission of up to 3 abstracts.
Registration fees vary according to the participant category and the date of payment (not the date of registration).
Participants may pay by bank slip (boleto), PIX, or personal credit card. Please note that payment methods may be subject to different fee amounts. For payment by purchase order (empenho), please see below.
Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee acceptance of a submitted abstract. Only abstracts that are accepted and linked to a fully paid registration by September 10, 2026, will be presented at the event.
For presentation of a work at the event, the main author (the person responsible for the submission) must be registered and must have paid the registration fee by September 10, 2026.
Co-authors may present works provided that they are duly registered and have a fully paid registration, as must the first author.
Participants must choose their registration category according to the highest academic degree they hold in the field.

Payment by Purchase Order (via FUNCAMP)

To pay by purchase order, please follow the steps below:

Complete the registration form on the event website, but do not make the payment.
Send the document confirming issuance of the purchase order to sbv@sbvirologia.com, including the following information: number of registrations, category and registration fee amount for each participant, and the contact details of the institution’s financial department (Name, E-mail, Full Address, and Telephone Number).
The purchase order will then be processed by FUNCAMP together with your institution’s financial department.
Once the process is completed, the registration will be confirmed in the system.
The participant will receive a confirmation by email.

Registration and Online Payment

Event registration and payment must be completed exclusively through the online system.
Accepted payment methods: credit card/debit card, PIX, and bank slip (boleto bancário).

Deadline for Early Registration

October 17, 2026

Cancellation Policy

Requests submitted by September 20, 2026: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
After September 20, 2026: no refund will be issued; however, the registration may be transferred to another person.
